More about the town of El Campello in Spain

I have a personal connection with El Campello because my family moved here over 25 years ago. My younger brothers grew up here and it has been a treasured part of my life for decades.

As a town to spend time in there's lots to do and even more just on the doorstep.

There is a busy marina and fish market and the long promenade is perfect for a stroll to take in the stunning mountainous backdrop and the sparkling Mediterranean. Or pause at one of the many cafes and restuarants and watch the world go by.

The tower overlooking the harbour was built in the 16th century as a lookout for Berber pirates. There is also an achaelogical site with remains of the Iberian ( IV b.c.), Roman and Islamic civilisations.
