Away from its beaches and promenades the Roman site Baños de la Reina, with rock-cut sea pools is worth exploring along with the ruins of Pobla de Ifac, a medieval walled village. For lovers of architecture La Muralla Roja is an iconic postmodern castle-like building by modern Spanish architect Ricardo Bofill. La Muralla Roja ( lit. 'the Red Wall') is an apartment complex in the Manzanera area of the town.

It's location almost equidistant between the cities of Alicante in the south and Valencia in the North which both benefit from excellent international airports makes Calpe a convenient and accessible location for guests arriving from far and wide for your wedding celebrations.
